Yesterday we learned that what we think about God is the most important thing about us. What we believe about God directly impacts our thoughts (our mind), affecting our emotions. 

God —-> Mind —> Emotions

Our minds are the battleground the enemy wants to use to feed us lies about who God is and who we are. If we give the enemy room to make a nest in our minds, we will begin to agree with him and forget the truth of who Jesus is and who we are as God’s beloved. 

Let’s not be deceived, the enemy knows our weak spots. As believers, there is hope and power in the name and truth of Jesus! There is immense power in thanksgiving and worship which can break the weight of the enemy’s lies. When we choose daily communion and thanksgiving, it can change the direction of our day and our thought patterns.

Let’s live a life of purposeful thinking and thanksgiving!

Confess that to God. Ask Jesus for forgiveness and speak out loud the truth about who He is (Our good, good Father) and who you are (His child – loved by Him).
