Houston, TX – February 25, 2025 – The KHCB Network, a Christian broadcasting ministry headquartered in Houston, Texas, is excited to announce the official launch of KLMH 88.5 FM in Lamesa, Texas. This new Spanish-language station will feature programming from Radio Amistad, KHCB’s dedicated Spanish-language ministry, proclaiming the truth to the growing Hispanic community in the region.

With more than 12,000 residents, Lamesa is home to a predominantly Hispanic population, estimated at over 50%, making it a strategic location for KHCB’s ongoing mission to spread the Gospel through Christian radio. The addition of KLMH 88.5 FM marks a significant milestone, expanding KHCB’s Spanish-language outreach to 18 stations broadcasting 24 hours a day across Texas and beyond.

The journey to launching KLMH 88.5 FM began in October 2024, when KHCB was granted a construction permit with a strict December 20 deadline. Facing a narrow window for completion, KHCB President Emeritus Bruce Munsterman and Chief Engineer Scout Weaver traveled to Lamesa during the week of December 9, working swiftly to coordinate the installation of a transmission tower and broadcasting equipment. By December 18, 2024, the station was successfully on the air—just in time to meet the deadline and ensure that this opportunity to reach Spanish-speaking listeners with the Gospel was not lost.

“We praise the Lord for His faithfulness in making this station a reality,” said Scott Krus, President of KHCB Network. “Our prayer is that KLMH will become a powerful instrument for sharing God’s Word, offering encouragement to those seeking biblical truth and strengthening the Spanish-speaking Christian community in Lamesa.”

KHCB Network invites listeners to tune in to KLMH 88.5 FM and experience uplifting music, engaging biblical teaching, and inspiring programs in Spanish. Please join us in praying that this new station will touch lives, strengthen faith, and draw more people to Jesus Christ.
